The Teen Advisory Council (TAC) is currently accepting new members.. Come check us out!
This is a group of teens (grades 7-12) committed serving their community, helping the library stay relevant to teens, and having a blast doing it! The TAC meets on the first Monday of each month from 6:30 - 7:30 in the Library Boardroom to talk about what we're reading, watching, and listening to; what's going on at school, at the library, and in the community; and how we can reach out to other teens and advocate for teen issues in the library and beyond.
The TAC plans and presents major programs at the library, including the annual K-12 Talent Show, the annual Games Day, the annual open mic, and most of the Teen and Tween Summer Reading Program events.
In addition to receiving community service hours for meetings and programs, TAC members can also receive letters of recommendation from library staff for their involvement with the TAC.
