"My name is Isidro.  I like the way my tutor, Alice, teaches me . I have been a literacy student at the Corona Public Library over 8 years.

Before I became a student, I didn't even know the alphabet.  Thanks to the Literacy Program, now I can read and write.  I can read books, magazines and my Bible.

Now I feel comfortable reading street signs and mail and in a couple of years reading children's books to my baby."
