"My name is Isidro. I like the way my tutor, Alice, teaches me . I have been a literacy student at the Corona Public Library over 8 years.
Before I became a student, I didn't even know the alphabet. Thanks to the Literacy Program, now I can read and write. I can read books, magazines and my Bible.
Now I feel comfortable reading street signs and mail and in a couple of years reading children's books to my baby."
"My name is Sherry. I have been coming to the Corona Public Library for tutoring for about seven years. I've learned spelling rules, writing and the correct pronunciation of words.I can now read with better comprehension than I did before."
