California Environments

The California Environments murals in the Children's Room were funded by the Friends of the Library and created by muralists Sean and Patrick Johnson. 

The six murals are as follows:

Redwood Forest
Lemon Grove (in honor Corona's citrus heritage)
Sierra Nevadas
Pacific Coast
High Desert
Historical Homes of Corona


Discovery by Stefen Elliot


Painted by artist Stefen Elliot, this large oil canvas triptych stretches the entire length of the upper wall in the World Languages area, depicting different types of discovery and exploration.  Discovery was funded by the Friends of the Library.


Three Facets of Man

This sculpture was donated to the Corona Public Library in 1975.  The designer was Corona painter and charter member of the Corona Art Association, Maxine Piester.  The plaque reads:
