"I am interested in becoming more involved with my city. Corona is presently expanding at a rapid pace and I am interested in working with the city to achieve positive outcomes. I have served on the Library Foundation Board, but have liked becoming more involved with the policy side of the organization." |

I truly care about my community and would like to give back and serve my community. I believe with my experience in working with children for over 19 years in my school library I can be helpful in making wise decisions regarding our public library. The library has so many wonderful things that they provide for Corona youth and adults. I am proud to be a Library Trustee. |

As a member of the community, I believe we should have the best library. A library provides so many vehicles to reach Corona and outlying communities. My roots are deeply planted in the system of library traditions. I look forward to utilizing my advocacy skills to fulfill the post as a trustee. A great community such as Corona, not only deserves, but requires a great library. |

"Our family has lived and served in our community since moving here from Connecticut over 45 years ago. Both my husband, Jerry, and I were teachers in the Corona-Norco Unified School District. We also owned and operated manufacturing businesses within Corona for many years. Not only was I a teacher here, but I also volunteered my time to serve for many organizations within Corona where I served in various capacities from committee chairman to President.
I have been past president of: Friends of the Corona Library, Soroptimists of Corona, Woman's Improvement Club (Triple M) and various PTA Organizations.
I believe my presence on the Board of Trustees can provide an additional point of view based on experience in the private and public sector." |
