Research Fees

The Corona Public Library only searches for obituaries, death notices, and articles for events that took place in the city or individuals who resided and/or died in the areas of Corona, Norco, Eastvale or Temescal Canyon. The fee for such requests varies based on the depth of research required and the amount of accurate information provided by you, the patron. The fees listed below are for each name/obituary or event researched.

  1. $5.00 Basic Research Fee: Exact title & date of article’s publication, for an obituary or death notice the exact name & date of death provided by the patron

  2. $15.00 Advanced Research Fee: Approximate dates of publication, inaccurate information, and for an obituary or death notice request that lacks the date of death.
These fees are for the search.

Though the Library can guarantee a thorough search, there is no refund if the article, obituary or death notice is not located.

Corona area newspapers do not have an online database or index for articles and obituaries. This form is a request to have one of our researchers physically scan newspaper microfilm in search of the requested material.


All obituary search fees must be prepaid.


Searches may take 5-10 days to complete depending on the format of the request.
