Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library support the Library by funding programs, artistic enhancements and providing funding to add to the Library's collection of materials. You can help by joining the Friends of the Library, visiting the Friends BookShop located in the Library, and doubling your dollars with donations to the Friends' Adopt-a-Book program. All Adopt-a-Book donations are matched by the Friends and are used to add materials to the Library's collection. In addition, any of your used books and magazines may be donated to the Friends. They will be sold in the BookShop and all the proceeds come right back to the Library!
Fundraising by the Library Foundation focuses on three areas: support of the Library's literacy program, enhancing the current facility with the eventual goal of extending service to a branch library, and keeping the Library's technology services current. You can support the Foundation by donating money for a brick for the Library's Legacy Path.
Support the Library by donating your ewaste to Dollar Self Storage in Corona. Dollar Self Storage, located at 1065 E. Third Street will take any of those cords, cables, old televisions, monitors, computers, or anything else electrical that you don't have use for any longer. Money collected from the recycle program supports technology growth for your Library. For more details on the ewaste recycle program, please click here.
Donate to the Heritage Room
The W.D. Addison Heritage Room relies on the generosity of its donors to build its archive and special collections. Donations of books, cash and other materials are accepted. The Heritage Room’s collection focuses on Corona related material such as photographs, slides, genealogies, books, manuscripts, yearbooks, maps, textiles, citrus labels, and other ephemera. If you have business/club/church records, letters, diaries, photographs, books, maps or other items that you believe would enhance the Heritage Room’s Collection, please contact the Heritage Room Librarian, Jennifer Marlatt at 951-279-3796 or by email at email@example.com.
The Heritage Room is always in need of monetary contributions to purchase new materials and equipment that document and preserve the history of the Corona area. Cash contributions to the Heritage Room can be made through either the Friends of the Corona Public Library or the Library’s Foundation . Contributions to the Foundation’s Theodore Jameson Todd or the Maggie Mellor Endowments are designated for the Heritage Room.
